What To Expect
On your first visit with us, we will address your concerns and attempt to answer all of your questions thoroughly. You can expect a comprehensive oral examination, including necessary x-rays, diagnosis with treatment recommendations, and periodontal probing which will determine the type of dental cleaning that is best for you. Depending on the condition of your teeth and gums, you may have your teeth cleaned during your first visit or you may be scheduled during a follow-up visit
Should you be experiencing a dental emergency we make every effort to see you as soon as possible and address your discomfort. If we can treat you immediately, we will. If we are unable to treat you on the same day you will be given the proper pain management and ask that you return for follow up on treatment at a later date.
What should you bring to your appointment?
You will need a photo ID, insurance card, list of medications you are currently taking, and the phone number of your medical doctor. We suggest that you arrive a few minutes before your first dental appointment so you have plenty of time to complete the new patient forms and get comfortable with the office. You will be asked to complete a patient registration form along with a medical and dental history form. All of our forms are also available through our website and can be filled out prior to your visit.
